I personal use Yahoo.com Domain and GoDaddy.com Hosting services, because the registration process is easy and straightforward. The thing I like best about yahoo.com is that you can buy a domain name for about $9.00 per year. And if they are running a special you can buy a domain name for $3.00.

Now you need a web hosting service

Web hosting services are like online apartments for your website. They allow you to upload your web site/files to their servers’ storage space. If you search the web, there are thousands of web hosting companies on line that will allow you to buy cheap web hosting service, but not all of them have good service.

My favor and the one I use/recommend is Godaddy.com. I have been using Godaddy.com for about 4 years now. Their service is class A quality and the prices are outrageously cheap. I personally recommend there economy monthly plan, which I current use. You can pay an average $4.00 per month and cancel at anytime with no penalties. So if you need a web hosting service I recommend godaddy.com.

Ok, now you need a website?

Unlike the old days, you do not have to build a website yourself. Well, occasionally, this is still true. But do to open source programming packages like Word press and Joomla.

The only thing you need to do is download, unzip, upload, enter your password and wham, you have a website. The greatest thing about these website packages is, not only is they free, but they pack many powerful tools and features. Giving your website the appearance that you paid a fortune for it.
